Here are some places to look for information about Lake Atitlan and it´s people.  Santiago´s own cooperative music label.  Nice commercial site from Panajachel with some nice grafics and good commercial information. Lots of great photos of the lake and it's people. This is the place to get information about our yearly music festival ( March)  Excellent site on weaving. They have an encyclopedia started of the history of the different native clothing from around the country.  A commercial weavers cooperative based here... very fine weaving, and they recently opened a weaving museum here in Santiago Atitlan  Mainstream newspaper from Guatemala city. They have an English edition.
